Connect Shopware Without Constraints

IntelliPaaS seamlessly connects Shopware with your core business systems, enabling no-code integration for catalogue sync, order operations and storefront configuration across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments.

Shopware's MCP server ships inside the platform itself, served from your own shop at an admin API path, which means residency and scaling follow your existing installation. It is deliberately generic — nine core primitives rather than a wide catalogue: entity search, read, upsert and delete, system configuration access, order state machine transitions, cache management and storefront product search with sales channel context. Because those primitives sit on the admin API entity model, the reachable surface is effectively the whole shop, bounded by two things: the integration's existing ACL permissions, and a per-integration tool allowlist configured under Settings. Authentication uses Shopware integration credentials. It is currently behind a feature flag and treated by Shopware's own architecture notes as transitional, so IntelliPaaS pairs it with the admin API for anything that needs to be stable today.

Shopware integration capabilities

  • Search and read any admin API entity the integration is permitted to see.
  • Upsert and delete entities, bounded by ACL and the per-integration tool allowlist.
  • Read and change system configuration.
  • Transition orders through the order state machine.
  • Manage caches after bulk changes.
  • Run storefront product search with sales channel context.

These capabilities let the shop be kept in step with the systems that own product, price and stock, without a bespoke sync for every entity. IntelliPaaS handles field mapping, batching and data type transformation automatically.

Common integration scenarios

  • Sync products, prices and stock from the ERP or PIM into Shopware.
  • Push orders into NetSuite, Business Central or SAP and write fulfilment status back.
  • Transition order states automatically as the warehouse or carrier reports progress.
  • Keep customer and B2B account records aligned with the CRM.
  • Load sales and catalogue performance into Power BI or Snowflake.

These scenarios address the most common friction in running a Shopware store — catalogue and stock maintained twice, orders re-keyed into the ERP — by automating the flows between Shopware and the platforms around it.

Deployment & security

Flexible deployment is essential for organisations operating in regulated industries or jurisdictions with strict data residency requirements. IntelliPaaS supports private cloud and on-premise deployments with full regional data sovereignty, and because the Shopware MCP server runs inside your own installation there is no vendor-hosted endpoint at all. All deployment modes receive the same feature set, connector library and support tier, with no capability trade-offs based on deployment choice.

Why IntelliPaaS

  • No-code to pro-code flexibility for all integration needs.
  • End-to-end security with ACL enforcement plus a per-integration tool allowlist.
  • Runs inside your own Shopware installation, so store data never crosses a vendor boundary.
  • Enterprise-grade observability with monitoring, alerting and audit logging.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What authentication does the connector use?

Shopware integration credentials — an access key and secret access key — bridged onto normal admin API authentication. Access is bounded by the integration's existing ACL permissions plus a per-integration tool allowlist you configure under Settings.

How mature is it?

Experimental. It sits behind a feature flag, arrived in Shopware 6.7.11, and Shopware's own architecture notes treat the current shape as transitional. We pair it with the admin API so production flows do not depend on a moving surface.

Can plugins add their own tools?

Yes — extensibility is a design goal. Plugins and bundles register tools through dependency injection tags, and apps declare capabilities and receive signed HTTP callbacks, so your own extensions can appear alongside the core tools.

Can I deploy on-premise or in a private cloud?

Yes, and this connector is a natural fit for it. Cloud (SaaS), private cloud in your own VPC, and fully on-premise or air-gapped deployments are all supported, with full feature parity across every mode.

Is my data secure?

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and IntelliPaaS is GDPR-ready. The server lives in your own installation, the tool allowlist and ACL together bound what any agent can reach, and rate limiting is handled at the framework layer.
