Pigment Partner ConnectorConnect Pigment Without Constraints
IntelliPaaS seamlessly connects Pigment with your core business systems, enabling no-code integration for planning, forecasting and model data across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments.
Pigment generates a unique MCP endpoint per workspace when an administrator turns the feature on, and Test and Deploy environments each get their own. Authentication is OAuth with the user's own Pigment credentials, and delegation is strict: an agent can only reach applications, metrics and data the person already has access to, with no additional rights granted through MCP. Per-block AI data access has to be enabled before anything is readable at all. The default tool set is read-only — organisation info, applications, AI metrics, metric descriptions and data queries. A separate advanced mode, off by default and enabled per user, unlocks full modelling: creating applications, building blocks, writing formulas, designing views and inputting data. Two governance details are worth knowing: once MCP is on, all workspace members can connect, and only Number, Integer and Boolean metrics are readable.
Pigment integration capabilities
- Read organisation information, applications and AI metrics.
- Read metric descriptions to ground queries in the model's own definitions.
- Query data from metrics of Number, Integer and Boolean type.
- Create applications and build or edit blocks under advanced mode.
- Write formulas, design views and boards, and input data where permitted.
- Operate under delegated permissions — MCP grants no access the user does not already have.
These capabilities keep planning models fed with real data and let planning output reach the systems that execute against it, without a quarterly copy-paste. IntelliPaaS handles field mapping, currency handling and data type transformation automatically.
Common integration scenarios
- Load actuals from NetSuite, SAP or Business Central into Pigment on close.
- Feed pipeline and bookings data from Salesforce into revenue planning models.
- Push headcount and cost plans back into the ERP or HR system.
- Publish approved forecast metrics into Power BI or Snowflake for wider reporting.
- Keep Test and Deploy environment models in step through a controlled promotion flow.
These scenarios address the most common friction in planning cycles — actuals loaded by hand, forecasts that reach the business as a spreadsheet — by automating the flows between Pigment and the platforms around it.
Deployment & security
Flexible deployment is essential for organisations operating in regulated industries or jurisdictions with strict data residency requirements. IntelliPaaS supports private cloud and on-premise deployments with full regional data sovereignty, and because the Pigment endpoint is workspace-scoped, residency follows your workspace hosting. All deployment modes receive the same feature set, connector library and support tier, with no capability trade-offs based on deployment choice.
Why IntelliPaaS
- No-code to pro-code flexibility for all integration needs.
- End-to-end security with strictly delegated permissions and per-block AI data access.
- Read-only by default, with modelling writes behind an explicit per-user opt-in.
- Enterprise-grade observability with monitoring, alerting and audit logging.

Frequently asked questions
What authentication does the connector use?
OAuth with the user's own Pigment credentials. Access is strictly delegated — an agent can only reach applications, metrics and data the person already has access to, and MCP grants no additional rights.
Can it write into Pigment models?
Only in advanced mode, which is off by default and enabled per user. That unlocks creating applications, building and editing blocks, writing formulas, designing views and inputting data — still bounded by the user's own permissions.
What has to be enabled first?
Pigment AI must be active on the workspace, a security or workspace administrator turns MCP on under Settings, Integrations, and per-block AI data access must be enabled for data to be readable. Note that once MCP is on, all workspace members can connect.
Can I deploy on-premise or in a private cloud?
Yes. Cloud (SaaS), private cloud in your own VPC, and fully on-premise or air-gapped deployments are all supported, with full feature parity across every mode.
Is my data secure?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and IntelliPaaS is GDPR-ready. Permissions are delegated from Pigment itself, administrators control which clients may connect, and on-prem modes keep planning data inside your own infrastructure boundary.
