Connect Lattice Without Constraints

IntelliPaaS seamlessly connects Lattice with your core business systems, enabling no-code integration for performance cycles, goal tracking and people reporting across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments.

Lattice hosts its MCP server at api.latticehq.com/mcp, and setup is deliberately administrator-led: there is no dynamic client registration, so an admin creates the MCP server entry under Admin, Platform, registers the AI system's redirect URLs and receives a client ID and secret shown once. The AI client also has to be set to Allowed under MCP Integrations, which means users cannot self-connect. Authentication is OAuth 2.0 per user and access is inherited — an agent sees only what that person already sees in Lattice. Coverage spans reviews, 1:1s, feedback, goals, updates, employee info and Grow competencies, with write access on meetings, reviews and updates. One deliberate boundary: anything in the Lattice admin section is out of scope.

Lattice integration capabilities

  • Read employee information and organisational context.
  • Read goals and track progress against them.
  • Read feedback and Grow competencies and tracks.
  • Read and write 1:1 meetings and agendas.
  • Read and write performance reviews, including drafting and submitting.
  • Read and write updates, under permissions inherited from the signed-in user.

These capabilities let performance and goal data reach the systems that plan and report on it, so people processes are not maintained in isolation from the rest of the business. IntelliPaaS handles field mapping, pagination and data type transformation automatically.

Common integration scenarios

  • Sync employee and org structure from Workday, BambooHR or Personio into Lattice.
  • Load goal progress and review completion into Power BI or Snowflake for people analytics.
  • Nudge managers in Slack or Microsoft Teams when review or 1:1 actions are outstanding.
  • Create Lattice records automatically when a hire completes onboarding.
  • Feed engagement and performance signals into retention and succession reporting.

These scenarios address the most common friction in performance management — goals tracked in one place and reported in another, review cycles chased by hand — by automating the flows between Lattice and the platforms around it.

Deployment & security

Flexible deployment is essential for organisations operating in regulated industries or jurisdictions with strict data residency requirements. IntelliPaaS supports private cloud and on-premise deployments with full regional data sovereignty, and Lattice hosts customer data in North America and EMEA regions. All deployment modes receive the same feature set, connector library and support tier, with no capability trade-offs based on deployment choice.

Why IntelliPaaS

  • No-code to pro-code flexibility for all integration needs.
  • End-to-end security with admin-registered OAuth clients and inherited user permissions.
  • Administrative data stays out of scope by design, so HR admin records are never exposed.
  • Enterprise-grade observability with monitoring, alerting and audit logging.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What authentication does the connector use?

OAuth 2.0 per user, with PKCE supported. Lattice does not support dynamic client registration — an admin creates the MCP server entry under Admin, Platform, registers redirect URLs and issues a client ID and secret. Access is then limited to what that user can already see.

Can it write into Lattice?

Yes, on meetings, performance reviews and updates — including drafting and submitting reviews. Employee information, feedback, goals and Grow data are read-only.

Does it reach HR admin data?

No. Lattice states the MCP server does not provide access to data or capabilities in the Lattice admin section. It is designed for manager and employee workflows.

Can I deploy on-premise or in a private cloud?

Yes. Cloud (SaaS), private cloud in your own VPC, and fully on-premise or air-gapped deployments are all supported, with full feature parity across every mode.

Is my data secure?

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and IntelliPaaS is GDPR-ready. Admins control which AI clients are allowed at all, permissions are inherited from Lattice, and on-prem modes keep people data inside your own infrastructure boundary.
