Shippo's hosted MCP server went generally available in mid-2026 and connects by OAuth — you sign in to your Shippo account and the agent inherits its carrier accounts, negotiated rates and shipment history, with no API key to configure. Coverage runs across address validation, shipment creation, rate shopping over USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and forty or more carriers, label purchase, tracking, carrier account settings, international customs, batch operations, pickups, manifests and webhooks. Two things shape how we deploy it. Read operations — rating, validation, tracking — are free, but buying a label is a live action that charges the account, so IntelliPaaS requires explicit confirmation. And there is no test mode on the hosted server: it runs against your live account, so we prove flows against Shippo's test API keys through the REST interface first.
