When Azure Monitor detects a critical infrastructure issue - a virtual machine going unresponsive, a database latency spike or a storage threshold breach - your IT team in BMC Helix ITSM has no incident record until someone manually creates one. By then the outage has already been running for however long it took someone to notice the alert and log it. This integration pack connects Azure Monitor directly to BMC Helix ITSM so every qualifying alert automatically creates a structured incident with alert details, severity and the affected resource name transferred across. Alert validation runs before incident creation to prevent low-priority noise reaching the queue. Incident resolutions and status updates sync back to Azure Monitor so both monitoring and ITSM teams always work from the same current picture.
